How to implement intuitive eating with your family
In today’s episode, Ashleigh shares a ton of useful tips on how to implement intuitive eating with your family. Here, we’ll highlight one of them.
Many young kids don’t like complex meals where all the food is mixed together, like in a stew or salad. If this is a dish you’d like to prepare for your family, you should definitely do it. You can think about the following, though: How can I make this more appealing to my (young) child? One way to do this is to take some parts out of (for example) the stew and present them on a separate plate. This way you have the stew for you and other family members and some parts of the stew, like meat and potatoes, on a separate plate next to it. This way of presenting food will make it more appealing for young children.
