[REWIND] How to Deal with Anxiety

Podcast Therapists image with three therapists and their logo for their rewind episode about how to deal with anxiety.

After re-releasing our most listened episode about how we explain anxiety to kids and families last week, we decided to keep the momentum going and share with you the other episodes from our anxiety series. Emerging two episodes into one, today’s episode is all about how to deal with anxiety, both your own and your kid’s.

“Anxiety is exhausting. Mentally and physically.”

Anxiety comes in many different ranges which could be seen on a scale from 1 to 10. When your anxiety is at a 1, you have a low level of anxiety, whereas when your anxiety is at a 10, you’re having a panic attack.

During this episode, we walk you through all the ranges of anxiety. What could anxiety feel like at a 3? And what could I feel or experience when it’s at an 8? What are some best practices when my anxiety is at a 2, 5, or 9? How can I best help my kid with their anxiety at any of these stages? But also, how can we manage anxiety before it’s even present?

Come and have a listen. We’ll walk you through it.
